2015 Petit Verdot, "Pancho"
Named after William Randolph’s favored cowboy and right-hand man, this wine commands a strong presence, just like its namesake. Deep rich garnet color announces the ripe stone fruit layered with toasted oak spice on the nose. Blackberry liquor and spice follow on the palate, supported by recognizable but well integrated tannins. Enjoy this wine as Pancho would with a Hearst Ranch Rib-eye. This wine is very limited in quantity and may not be available in future vintages.
