Hearst Ranch Winery was awarded the Gold Medal and the Chairman’s Best of Class for the 2007 “Lone Tree” Cabernet Franc at the Long Beach Grand Cru; a spectacular wine competition that is one of the world’s top wine judging events. This classic Cabernet Franc blends the aromas of red currant, crushed black pepper, leather, game and layers cocoa with bright red fruit and blue berry flavors. Over 1400 wines overall were entered in all classes.
