The 28th Annual Paso Robles Wine Festival attracted thousands to the downtown City Park to taste the local wines that are now considered “world-class.” Activities throughout the Paso Robles appellation included intimate tastings at boutique wineries as well as huge events complete with food and entertainment at the well-known wineries. On May 22, 2010, a premier event organized by the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance, the Wine Country Auction & Dinner brought wine enthusiasts together after the Grand Tasting in the City Park to feature wines and food pairings by notable wineries and local chefs.

Jeremy Leffert represented Hearst Ranch Winery and Saunders Vineyard. Hearst Ranch Winery’s auction item brought in the highest amount raised ($13,000) for the item called “Living the Hearst Dream.” The evening concluded with a very successful live auction that raised thousands of dollars for local organizations through the generous donations of unique items only available during this exclusive Paso Robles Wine Country experience. The money will remain in the community through local organizations that support healthcare, education and greater community service. Hearst Ranch Winery is committed to the philanthropic philosophy of giving back to the community. That commitment furthers the "Legacy of Quality" that is synonymous with Hearst Ranch Winery.
