2011 Barrel Select Red Cuvee The Point

55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 21% Petit Verdot, 14% Petite Sirah, 10% Merlot

The 2011 vintage is a unique, powerful, and ripe expression of Bordeaux varities. The lovely aromatics are driven by cassis and rapsberry, with beautiful subtleties of leather, herbs du Provence, and blanaced tasty French oak. Immediately, refreshing front end acidity attacks the palate and moves to flabors of cherry and choloate. This transitions to a fine grained lengthy finish composed of creamy blueberry from the Petite Sirah, a hint of butterscotch, and a dolop of blackberry jam.
