This wine’s three components seamlessly blend together, making for a delightful and exuberant experience.
This Cabernet Sauvignon's intensity shows immediately through its saturated scarlet appearance and through its warm and inviting nose that offers up aromas of black current, graphite and loam.
On the nose, aromas of ripe Bing cherries are grounded by wet clay and a hint of vanilla. Plums and a touch of earthiness are found on the pallet, brightened by a nice mid-palate acidity. The lushness in the mouth balanced by finely polished tannic structure supports a wide range of foods.
Aromas of caramel, raspberry and sweet lavender are released with each swirl in the glass. Herbaceous red fruit and chocolate kick off the flavor profile and are supported with a nice raspberry mid palate that fades to lengthy finish dominated by oak, cinnamon, and maple flavors beneath the beautiful dried fruit.
Randolph is a stunning wine as versatile as any we’ve ever bottled. It possesses traits of a wine blessed with both juicy ripeness and composed balance. Its great versatility makes this wine an easy choice for a weeknight pasta dish or a Saturday evening dinner party.
The story of our 2015 Glacier Ridge Chardonnay is one of restrained elegance. Sourced from a vineyard just inland from Monterey Bay, the clusters reached a sufficient level of maturity to present pure varietal character while maintaining a firm acidic backbone for balance.
Our primary goal when blending rosé is to make it delicious! To us, rosé should be bright, playful and above all else, approachable. Chill this wine 50˚ and take a moment to gaze upon the beautiful pink hue while in your glass.
The 2014 Malbec's minimalistic oak regime lets varietal character shine the brightest while providing a steadfast backbone and lush mouthfeel.
Aromas of bright plum and blackberry concentrate jump out of the glass. The dense aromatics yield to spicy dark stone fruit and wet clay which is very typical of our hillside vineyard. We recommend decanting this wine in its youth to release its primary fruit aromas and relax the tannic structure.
As a varietal, Zinfandel tends to throw caution to the wind and err on the side of fun. While not losing sight of its rambunctious roots, our 2014 Carpoforo Zinfandel maintains its regal composure.
