2009 “Glacier Ridge” Chardonnay

Tasting Notes

Aromatically, our 2009 “Glacier Ridge” is driven by citrus, peach, and refreshing minerality. Notes of pineapple, guava, and mango are present in the backdrop. The aromatics of this classic chardonnay transition to a balanced and acidic flavor profile dominated by granny smith apple and orange rind, which leads to a pleasant finish composed of roasted corn, lemon zest and tangerine flavors.

Our lovely chardonnay desires the company of food. Pairing “Glacier Ridge” with Manchego or soft ripened cheeses such as Brie or Chevre is delightful. In addition, the flavors of “Glacier Ridge” harmonize wonderfully with cream based pasta sauce, lightly cooked fish and barbecued chicken.
